Rome
The Basilica was built in the 4th century AD, with an incorporated seventeenth century Baptistery and Bernini’s famous Fonseca Chapel, with mixed styles ranging from Romanesque to Baroque.
The restoration works carried out between 2003 and 2004, returned the ancient covers to their original splendour. The works were carried out to perfection by expert restoration companies specialised in historical buildings.
