Born in Rome in 1972, he studied Political Science at La Sapienza University in Rome, while also studying technical design, to fuel his passion.
In his early twenties he moved to London for two years where he had the opportunity to work for an important design agency and take his first steps in the advertising world. Once back in Italy, he started his entrepreneurial career in out of home advertising and sponsored restoration by founding Urban Vision together with Daniela Valenza and Fabio Mazzoni; later he also began a career as cinema producer.
Passionate about photography and history of art, Gianluca travels across Italy in search of treasures to restore with the contribution of sponsors and patrons, collaborating with public and private authorities to preserve Italy’s artistic heritage.
Born in Rome 43 years ago, he obtained two Executive Master’s Degrees, in Finance Management and Control, at the Gema Business School, and in Business Administration, at the Luiss Business School in Rome.
As cofounding partner of Urban Vision, during the years he has covered different positions, taking care first of the technical aspects and authorisation issues linked to sponsored restoration projects, then of acquisitions and finally assuming the role of Managing Director of the company.
Born in Rome, Daniela obtained a degree in Physical Education and Sports Science at Urbino’s ISEF. She is one of Urban Vision’s founding partners and the company’s commercial and strategic inspiration.
Expert in advertising and public relations, she divides her time between Rome and Milan where she manages the relations between clients and Media Centres, designing “taylor made” strategies for all types of brands.
Amr El Adawy is an international Finance and Management executive, with nearly two decades experience in the Telecom business.
He served as Group Chief Financial Officer for La Mancha in the Mining Industry and precedingly for WIS Telecom since 2010 and at the same time as Chief Executive Officer of the Italian subsidiary, MENA SCS SpA since 2011, the Submarine Cable Company of Orascom Telecom.
Prior to joining the Orascom group, Amr El Adawy covered high finance management positions in several multinational companies, such as Adler-France; Pepsi Cola-France and in a JV of Carrefour-France with Majid Al Futtaim group for its activity in the Middle East. Mr. El Adawy holds a Finance Management and Accounting degree from the CNAM University of Paris and has joined Urban Vision as Chief Operating Officer in 2018.
Marianna holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Salerno.
Thanks to her international professional experience, Marianna has a deep understanding of different cultures, legislations and customer behaviors in European markets.
As Marketing Director at SES, the worldwide leader satellite operator, she developed strategic marketing plans, both B2B and B2B2C, for Italy, Greece and Turkey markets; among her responsibilities the analysis of activities performance and the budget forecast.
In Eutelsat broadband Marianna focused on the new service launch in 8 European countries, she was in charge to tailor and localize the company marcom strategy to each market need. Between 2002 and 2005 Marianna served as Communication Manager of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
As Head of International Strategic Development she leads the strategic planning for the internationalization of Urban Vision business.
Born in Rome, after obtaining a degree in Modern Literature at La Sapienza University in Rome, Valeria became a professional journalist in 2002 and has been a member of FERPI since 2012. Passionate about politics, she worked first as a reporter for the Espresso Group, then as press agent for a number of members of the Parliament and the Government.
She moved to the private industry sector to work as press office manager for Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm. Before joining Urban Vision, Valeria worked as a freelance communications consultant for a number of private companies.
Born in 1980, after a degree in Philosophy and Literature, with a dissertation on Aesthetics, Raffaele obtained a Master’s Degree in Management and Marketing at the Luiss Business School. In 2004, he started his career at Italia Nostra, an association involved in activities aimed to preserving cultural heritage, then moved on to manage digital projects at Fondazione MAXXI – National Museum of XXI century Arts.
He has been working at Urban Vision since 2008, where he manages the Addendo Business Unit, the division specialised in cross-media communication projects. When Raffaele is not busy with budgets or cash and work flows, he enjoys contemporary American literature, is passionate about contemporary avant-garde and carries out pro bono activities to support of young artists.
